The Foundation offers grant support in several subject areas in order to promote the development of human resources, expand the scope of research, rejuvenate study programs, and spread awareness of artificial intelligence-related topics.
Grant support for young researchers without a degree (graduate students)
Purpose of the competition: to encourage promising research talent pursuing desktop or applied research in artificial intelligence, cognitive systems, or study of the brain to join Lomonosov Moscow State University.
What's in it for the winner?

Requirements:
- under the age of 35;
- certificate of a graduate degree (Specialist or Master's);
- must be a graduate research student at MSU or show evidence that an admissions application has been submitted to MSU’s graduate admissions office.
Competition stages:
- Submission of applications
Applications must be submitted to the competition's Organizing Committee (MSU) by August 30, 2021.
- Evaluation of applications
Applications submitted to the competition are split between experts according to research track.
- Ranking of applications
The competition's Expert Council reviews the experts' reports and produces a ranking of all applications received.
- Naming of winners
The competition's Organizing Committee determines the winners, who are then offered employment contracts.
How do I apply?
- Read the Competition Charter and the Terms and Conditions.
- Decide on your research topic.
- Select your research advisor and the MSU division that pursues academic and research work in your field of choice.
- Complete your competition application together with your research advisor.
- Make sure your application meets the competition criteria, and include the appropriate information about your project.
- Your research advisor will forward your application via the ISTINA analytical system.
- Await the results of application processing.
